Laughter yoga is laughing for no reason, purely for the fun of it, combining laughter exercises and deep breathing.

Laughter is generated through exercises, laughing not in response to humour but simply to enjoy the experience.  It’s not traditional yoga, but we do use deep breathing techniques which bring about relaxation and increases lung aeration. Anna guides you through simple laughter exercises which exercise your abdominals, increase your heart rate and ease away tension.

Our Laughter sessions provide participants with an energetic start to their day, or a stress-busting finish. Laughter allows us to shed our anxieties and connect with others, bolstering mental health.

Laughter yoga is an accessible and fun way of boosting immunity and promoting lung and general health.

Physical and psychological health benefits have been associated with Laugher Yoga including a reduction of stress, pain management and the benefits of a robust cardio-vascular workout.

And the great thing is that laughter yoga is accessible to everyone.  It doesn’t require any special clothes, equipment or experience.  All that’s necessary is a playful attitude and a willingness to join in.  Some people find the experience unusual at first.  Our bespoke sessions approach laughter yoga respectfully and professionally.

The session gives me an immediate and notable lift in my mood, which then stays with me for several hours afterwards.
